An award-winning building in in downtown Vancouver.

The award-winning Hudson is a 423 unit live / work building, a new concept in downtown Vancouver high-rise developments.  Included in the project is the retention and restoration of heritage structures with four levels of retail space.  Macdonald worked closely with the BC Transit Authority to construct a universal access SkyTrain station below the building, further enhancing transit connectivity to that particular area of the downtown core.  The complex set of community benefits at The Hudson (heritage retention, transit station) are key components in making this a landmark building.  This highly successful mixed-use project was developed in conjunction with Wall Financial Corporation.
